Behind the scenes with the inspirational Robin Roberts at the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Annual Dinner. Robin wowed the audience with here words of encouragement, and gave this filmmaker a thrill when she took a moment to pause for a pic!
First day of shooting for Providence Place Senior Living communities. From script to casting, location scouting to propping, to making sure that the right gear and people are there for the shoot…effective production has a lot of moving parts. So glad that we had the right team in place, Curtis Dubinsky – DP, Jeff Walker – Gaffer, Eliza Taylor – Production Coordinator, Deb Foster- Make Up, Bo Wagner – Production Assistant, and the very talented Diann Stewart!
Actors, a nurse advisor, a great location, and a full day of shooting to come away with much needed B-roll for Paksima Productions IMS Healthcare videos. The Schott Productions team put this together in 3 days!
Much appreciation to Berks Women in Crisis for featuring Finding Jenn’s Voice at their Silent Witness event. It was a very moving event in which they read the names of over 40 victims of Intimate Partner Homicide. The audience loved the 13 minute excerpt from our film. These are the moments that keep us going with this film!
In the Big Easy for Finding Jenn’s Voice – While most of us think of Bourbon Street and its all night party, we met a very different group of people during our trip to New Orleans. Loyola University’s professors, Dr. Rae Taylor and Dr. Marcus Kundkar offered incredible insights into the tragedy of Intimate Partner Homicide. And our interview with Roxanne, a survivor of intimate partner violence, left us humbled.
Martine Cajas is funnier without trying than most people doing their best comic stand ups! And he has an uncanny eye for weddings, design and style.
Justine was devastated by her sister’s murder, and was very reluctant to participate in Finding Jenn’s Voice. After two years, she finally agreed to go on camera while riding Jenn’s horse Marji. Justine’s insights were profound, and the images we got while she rode were very moving. In fact, we found our poster image with Justine riding into the light on Jenn’s horse.
