First day of shooting for Providence Place Senior Living communities. From script to casting, location scouting to propping, to making sure that the right gear and people are there for the shoot…effective production has a lot of moving parts. Much appreciation to Berks Women in Crisis for featuring Finding Jenn’s Voice at their Silent Witness event. It was a very moving event in which they read the names of over 40 victims of Intimate Partner Homicide. The audience loved the 13 minute excerpt from our film. These are the moments that keep us going with this film!
Martine Cajas is funnier without trying than most people doing their best comic stand ups! And he has an uncanny eye for weddings, design and style.
Justine was devastated by her sister’s murder, and was very reluctant to participate in Finding Jenn’s Voice. After two years, she finally agreed to go on camera while riding Jenn’s horse Marji. Justine’s insights were profound, and the images we got while she rode were very moving. In fact, we found our poster image with Justine riding into the light on Jenn’s horse.
